Liisa Helena Heint is an Australian visual artist carrying the pastoral legacy of maternal pioneer stock. Her practice encompasses photography and moving image, guided from an early age by her father, Dr Tom Heint. Raised within a rare family lineage as the granddaughter of two compound pharmacists and daughter of a specialist doctor, she was cultivated within an environment where silver halide photography became a multigenerational archive, establishing photography and film as her family’s lingua franca.

Alongside her practice, she holds Olympic accreditation and is a certified thoroughbred trainer.
